The Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry

The Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (ANZCTR) is an online register of clinical trials being undertaken in Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere. The ANZCTR includes trials from the full spectrum of therapeutic areas of pharmaceuticals, surgical procedures, preventive measures, lifestyle, devices, treatment and rehabilitation strategies and complementary therapies.  

Accreditation

The ANZCTR is recognised by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a Primary Registry in the WHO Registry Network. ANZCTR is also a registry recognized by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.

Access and Pricing

Clinical trials can be registered and viewed free of charge via the ANZCTR website. Once registered, publicly available trials information can be searched and downloaded via the website. Specific or tailored information searches can be requested by contacting the ANZCTR directly.

Previous Clients

Trial information available on the ANZCTR website has been provided by each trial's responsible registrant/lead researcher. Trials registered on the US based registry, ClinicalTrials.gov, with at least one recruitment site in Australia are also imported and displayed on the ANZCTR website.
