TIA-supported facilities are categorised into three main Therapeutic areas.  See Table 1 below for a list of TIA-supported national research infrastructure.

Therapeutic Areas

TIA’s vision is to enable and accelerate the translation of research discoveries along the development pipeline by ensuring that excellent translational research services are accessible by the Australian translational research community.

To make this vision a reality, we have partnered with leading national research infrastructure facilities across three Therapeutic Areas - Small Molecules, Biologics and Cell and Gene Therapies, to deliver world-class research infrastructure across Australia. These areas represent

product classes that account for the majority of products currently in clinical development.

Click on the graphic (at right) for further details of each Therapeutic Area, as well as Clinical Trial Readiness and Education and Workforce Development initiatives.
